Moroccan MarbleAbout 380 million years ago, the Moroccan Sahara was a massive prehistoric ocean. Because of the lack of oxygen, tectonic movements and high temperature, sea life remained there after the withdrawal of the sea.

The south-east of the Moroccan Sahara is now a rich source of very old and various fossils.

More importantly, the area of the world is very famous for its unique fossilized marble.
